Cordele, Georgia

Square Foot Ministry (SFM) of Fayetteville, Georgia, in partnership with the City of Cordele and the Crisp Ministerial Association, will begin construction of a new home for Iesha Moore and her daughter, Ah’Promise, of Cordele.

The first phase of construction will take place November 9–13 on 29th Avenue East, as volunteers, community members and ministry partners come together to build a safe and comfortable home for the family.

Iesha has been a valued member of the Cordele community for many years. Originally from Miami, Florida, she moved to Cordele as a teenager and graduated from Crisp County High School and South Georgia Technical College with her LPN degree. After six years of caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Iesha is continuing her education to become a Registered Nurse.

Her daughter, Ah’Promise, is a sixth-grade honor-roll student who is active in BETA Club, cheerleading, travel softball and tumbling.

For Iesha, owning a home means stability, security and a brighter future for her daughter.

“Owning a home would provide my daughter and me with stability, security and a permanent place to call home. It would give us a stronger foundation for our future.”

Square Foot Ministry is honored to help Iesha and Ah’Promise take this important step toward homeownership and a new chapter in their lives.

SFM is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps qualified low-income families obtain safe, healthy homes through interest-free mortgages, low down payments and affordable monthly payments.

Community members are invited to volunteer and be part of this special build.  Donate at Squarefootministry.org
