Your donation helps provide families with a safe, healthy home! Numerous studies show that homeownership helps lower income, working families to improve health, school performance for children, and provides long-term stability to break the cycle of poverty.
Square Foot Ministry home recipients become true homeowners as they both participate in the construction of their home and then pay a monthly mortgage payment in order to build equity. This is a true “hand up” and not a “hand out”.
The Square Foot Ministry leadership and organization is primarily volunteer and we have no full-time paid staff. More than 90% of every dollar donated goes directly into one of our build or repair projects.
Square Foot Ministry was incorporated in 2002 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
